Hi ladies!!!

I finally applied heat after two and a half months without it. I didn't have plans to do it. It was a spur of the moment decision. I'll be starting law school this Monday so I wanted to go the first few weeks without having to worry about my hair. And let me say that I absolutely love the results of my blow out. I'm fifteen weeks post and my roots came out straight. Yay! Pictures are on my blog (excuse the sideways photos, will edit soon):

Edit: Photos are now properly rotated. Hope I didn't hurt anyone's neck lol

I like the volume and the straight roots! :D

Lol trust me, so do I. I had fun with my hair yesterday. I can only imagine what my blowout will look like once I'm fully natural

Very pretty!

Love the facial expressions! :)

Lol I can never take pictures with a straight face. :spinning:

AnjelLuvsUBabe I know. I made the blog post from my phone. I've been too busy moving so I haven't had a chance to change the blog yet. But thanks.

I need to know what yall are doing to get roots THAT straight...

AnjelLuvsUBabe lol all it takes is nicely moisturized new growth and patience. The key to getting my new growth straight is by using a denman brush to apply tension on it. That denman brush is awesome. I make sure that my hair is properly detangled as well, because if it isn't, then I shouldn't expect any fantastic results.
