Touch-up care

Sorry if this is a repeat...

What do you do to care for your hair preceding and following a touch-up? How long do you wait before getting back into your usual regime?

Well for me the day of my touch-up I usually apply Profectiv Break Free to my hair (the part that is already relaxed, NOT the new growth, the directions are on the jar).

1 week later I shampoo and Deep Conditon with Nexxus Keraphix.

That's what works for me.

I base my scalp with Summit Sensitive Scalp prior to getting a touch-up. This base prevents scalp irritation and dryness. My stylist applies Affirm Protecto to my hair prior to doing the touch-up. The Protecto prevents overprocessing.

I would definetly base my scalp with some castor oil b4 getting a touch up. Prevents burning.

I use Summit or Cream of Nature scalp protectant.

About 3 days before, I make sure to give myself a major protein treatment
