Rinsing Out Relaxer

I just wanted to know your regime for rinse out relaxer after a touch up. I rinse with conditioner and repeat this process until all of the relaxer residue is gone. I follow up with the neutralizing shampoo, leave the Nexxus Reconstructor in for about 15 minutes with a heat cap then rinse, and my next step is the Nexxus Humectress conditioner I leave it on for 20 minutes with my heat cap and rinse. Finally I apply my leave in conditioner Nexxus Headress.

I am curious to see if I can improve this regime.

1st Goal - Bra Strap by Aug 2004
2nd Goal - Below Bra Strap Dec 2004
3rd Goal - Waist length 2005

Last Trim - Oct 20, 2003

May I ask why do you rinse with conditioner?

A very close friend who has waist length hair does it, so I just thought it was a good idea. When I do the conditioner rinse I notice that I do not lose that much hair during the relaxer process. The conditioner is suppose to reduce the ph balance of the relaxer. I also like the way my hair feels when I am done.
