Hey ladies I am about 3 months post relaxer and I put a sew in weave in my hair a couple of weeks ago. it was 2 weeks and a couple of days to be exact. this is the 2nd weave that i have had since having a relaxer. when i took it out i could barely unbraid it. it seemed to be locking up or something. right at the area where my relaxer and new growth met was the worse. i was tempted to cut it out but i worked through the tangles with a detangler....has anyone else experienced this? my hair never did this when i didn't have a relaxer. i was able to keep a sew in weave in for 3 months and still didn't have all of the tangles that i had this time. i hear a lot about about people who have relaxers and are stretching with sew-ins. are you experiencing the locking, tangles and breakage? am i doing something wrong?
