One of my coworker's daughter got blond highlights and she is only 11. I think that is too young.

Yeah, that's too young. Does she have a relaxer on top of that?

I don't know her ethnicity, but a lot of white moms who dye their hair dye their kids hair too so it could match and appear to be natural. Some of the kids are as young as 3.

I had a student last year, when I taught 3rd grade, who had her brown hair colored reddish. It was also relaxed and packed with gel every day. No hair ever moved.

No hair color before puberty, I believe the same about relaxers.

And they wonder about the kids acting grown too quick.

I had highlights when i was in third form i would have been about 14/15

I forgot to add that she was a little white girl so maybe it is not as damaging on their hair. Also, the little girl from My wife and kids seems to have lighter hair than the first season. Maybe her hair was highlighted too.

I know this spanish 7/8 year old boy who has highlights I think that really sad

Yes, I think the little girl in "My wife and kids" did have her hair dyed. I think she's growing it out now.

I wonder the same thing also. I thought the little girl is a bit too young to dye her hair.
