Really, I am not complaining. But having thick hair can be a curse sometimes. 
It takes too much time to work with mine. And too much product! I almost used half a jar of a dc on my hair- and it still didn't feel like enough! So I grabbed one of my cheapie cond and added to it. I definitely didn't get my mom's hair. Hers is softer and much more fine than mine. She can slide a comb thru with no problem.
