I'm starting Curly Girl now, so last night I clarified my hair with Suave Daily Clarifying, then Keracare 1st Lather. I DC'd with my Elucence MB Conditioner mixed with EVOO, Olive Cream Detangler, Nexxus Keraphix and bottled water. My hair felt so much better, but today I can tell that it's still dry. I plan to DC for 3 days straight (yesterday, today, and tomorrow). Is that too much DC?

I dont think that's too much conditioner. Daily conditioning is too much for me. what's the curly girl routine?

Thanks for the replies! The Curly Girl routine is a routine that Lorraine Massey started. She wrote a book named Curly Girl, and that's basically what most people use on NaturallyCurly.com. It's pretty much not using cones, CW only, no shampoo.

I too am doing the Curly Girl method (well, maybe a modified version because I still use shampoo) and I DC 4-5 times a week, and my hair feels great.

I dont think its too much. Currently I am doin a DC twice a week, but I love it so much I may start doing it more :)
