Hey yall,

I need some help with my hair elasticity. I took a few shredded strands and stretched them. And they stretched like a rubber band but they didn't go back to its original length. It just stayed 80% stretched and turned white where it stretched out. :nono:
Does this mean I need more protein treatment? If so, how often should I do them?
Would aphogee reconstructor be good enough?

I also did a porosity test and i seem to have low porosity.

I wash my hair twice a week at least. Shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and sometimes an oil to seal (or serum if blow drying).

Help me please!

Thanks in advance :)

My hair is lo po and fine and protetin is a must. I use a mild protein weekly or every other week. Sounds like you need to up your protein.

I like cassia , yogurt, throwing in a egg to get my protein.

You need protein. Try a hard treatment like Aphogee. That'll fix you right up.

yup definitely protein. If your hair is at that stage you could use a more moderate protein treatment.
