Differing Levels Of Hair Elasticity All Over Head?

So, any time I have a shed hair, I like to pull at it to test the elasticity. lol

I've always noticed that the strands of hair all seem to vary in elasticity. Some streeeeetch, and then finally break. Some snap as soon as I pull on them, and other stands are just right!

It always makes me wonder if I should be using a protein or moisturizing DC, because different areas of my hair all seem to have different needs...im thinking it has something to do with the texture and porosity of my hair. The back of head has hair that is coarse and pretty low porosity, and I struggle to keep it moisturized...it breaks alot. The front of head is easier to keep moisturized, doesn't break as much, etc...

Do yall have experience with this?

I have the same experience. The front of my hair has a different elasticity than the back of my hair. The front of my hair requires more protein than the back.
