I BC'd on July 9th 2010

I kept my hair braided so the next pic was taken in August after I took down braids

I then got super busy traveling for work and then moving so I didn't really document anything between September and November. During that time I wore braids, lacefronts and weaves....all done by MOI! Anyways the next pic was taken the same day I moved into my new apartment in FL. Hair looks a mess

WOW, very nice! I am working on being natural for a year without cutting off progress!:lachen: I have to wait until December for that! Your hair encourages me to just keep going. I'm keeping my hair in twists for the next six months.:yep:

I suppose not stressing about the hair too much helps. The last time I BC'd I lasted 11 months...I was so frustrated but I realized I was not giving my hair a break to do what it has to do. Just embrace it is the best I can say.
 
Congrats on making One year since your BC. You look stunning in that wedding photo.
Seems like you are having fun with you hair on your journey. HHG
 
Thank you ladies! Being on this board has certainly helped with learning new techniques and about products.

Also all the natural ladies provide so much inspiration which is always a plus!
 
That's pretty cool that u shared ur journey! I'm also on the heat training thread! I need to go over there and read ur progress
