One Year Since my Bog Chop!

This isn't as dramatic as some of the other reveals around here but I was proud of my progress. I stopped relaxing February 2013 and did the big chop myself July 2013. This month I am one year post relaxer and 7 months post big chop. I thought my hair would never grow back! Before and after pic below. In the first pic it had been about a month since I big chopped. It was so low you can't even tell if I have hair or not. The second pic taken today. Excuse the dirty mirror please I know I need a trim and I am terrified to do it myself. Time to go shopping for a stylist.

First, it DOES look like you have hair in pic 1. It's not that short.

Second, you could always wait until your hair grows a bit more before trimming, this way when they even things out it won't feel so short.
