Question for those of you who are relaxed/texlaxed and wash and go on occasion.

My hair looks great the first day of washing and going, but the second day the curl has loosed and it is straight on the ends in some parts. If I try to just dampen my hair and apply product it gets crunchy with the same straight ends. Is my only option to completely saturate my hair everyday?

Hi,

I apply conditioner to my hair at night, and then twist it in sections to achieve body to my hair.

Thanks Dijah,

You said you twist it..how does it come out the next day..curly or unbraided looking?

It comes out more curly looking the way I twist it.

Just to follow up. You take a section of hair and twist it until in starts to coil around itself like you were making a bun or bantu knots. Does that make sense? I think the twists and the coiling around itself it what makes the curl.

Hey, can someone please post a tutorial about on how to do a wash and go with relaxed hair? Last time i tried and it looked messed up. Maybe i did something wrong. So if someone can please direct me as to how to do one (preferably with pics), that would be greatly appreciated.

It does. Now this is from a dry state correct?

I have permed ends and what I do is twist it at night and use perm rods on the end, spray distilled water and conditioner combo for moisture and oil mixture to seal moisture in 2x's a day. Once in the morning after taking the rods out but before I unravel the twist and then at night after I have twisted and rolled it. It works well for me....but I haven't had a perm for 14/15 weeks so I am not sure how "relaxed" my hair is right now. LOL
