Today is my one year anniversary being natural - again.

Although this Texas heat is making me wanna run to Affirm.

I lighten my hair with dark and lovely hair dye about 2-3 months ago and it really ruin my hair, especially the ends.

My hair goal is to be 13-14" by December. But my ends are pretty much fried yet they are strong. They feel rough. I don't know if that makes any sense. I really "HATE" to cut them, I would have to cut at least 2". I would first like to see if I can really reach my goal by December and then cut my hair.

What would you do and why?

I would cut the rough ends off, b/c most likely they are damaged. It may take you a lil longer to grow your hair to its desired length, but your hair will look much better without the rough ends, than with the rough ends.
By the way, how much of your ends are rough looking or feeling?
