Dark and lovely hair color. DESTROYED MY HAIR!

So much for my 14" by December . My hair is soooo damaged. I will be cutting off at least 4-5" and I really dread having it cut.

Now, I am thinking about getting a relaxer.

There is nothing more depressing than starting over.

Tracy has a bootcamp for girls with color. It might help
you nurse your tresses back to help. Give it a try. I will see if I can find it.

I would consult with a professional hair stylist before 'starting over'. When I use to relax I had a terrible hair period where my hair was straw like and brittle. A trip to the salon helped a lot and instead of cutting off inches (which I BARELY had) I only needed my ends trimmed. I know it's depressing, though! I can truly relate. I had an incident where 3 inches of my hair came out (tragic story). What are you gonna do? Give up? Nah! I know you feel bad..just vent and keep at it. The next time you consider coloring your hair you might want to try henna. It's a plant that naturally dyes the hair and it's conditioning. Some people mix henna and other plant dyes together to get various colors. I'm still researching it. Try Henna for Hair for starters. I'm really sorry this happened to you but take the positive out of it. Now you know never to use it again and you can forwarn others. God Bless!!!!
