Just wondering, could this be used as a leave-in? I'm suffering from major dryness and some breakage and was wondering if this could help me out.

Maybe you should pm sistaslick. She uses kenra products a lot and I'm sure she'll be able to answer this question for you.

The Kenra website recommends using on ends with a diffuser, so I don't see why you can't. I tried some on a piece of hair when I bought it and it moisturized nicely. HTH

I use kenra as a leave in all the time. I sometimes use it on wet hair for a wash and wear. However, I mostly use it before blowdrying and before rollersetting. It's really moisturizing and the moisture lasts for days. Just make sure you don't put too much on b/c you'll get white head.

thanks for all the replies ladies. I used Kenra yesterday as a DC and my hair feels oh so great today. Now my only problem is detangling. I still lose a lot of hair, to me when detangling. Do any of you have any good suggestions on how to detangle hair. would it help to saturate y strands with Kenra and then comb through. I would detangle under the shower, but the pressure is not good enough and I have hard water. Any suggestions?

i tried this last night on the ends of my twists
i took some of the kenra mc and a little water in my hands
and rubbed it together and then put it on my hair.

felt good.
i'm going to try it again right now

What I do is after I DC w/ Kenra I rinse it out and use a Rinse.
I use Praital Silk Worm Rinse to detangle buy applying a good amount of it on my dripping wet hair fresh from rinsing out the DC. Once hair is coated I detangle my hair under running water gliding my Jibere shower comb through from bottom to top. At that point the comb just glides through my hair like BUTTA:grin:
I say get a good rinse for effortless detangling:yep:

soooo...

i think i love kenra as a leave-in/moisturizer!!!

i know i posted about using it on this post before
but my hair was gunked up so i couldnt REALLY tell
how well it was working.

i cleansed and deep conditioned my twists last night
and took some of the kenra mc (w/ a little water to help it spread)
and used it as my leave-in

today my hair feels moisturized and soft.

i think we have a keeper.
always good to find ways to get rid of other products
using this as a DC *and* a leave-in.
WOOHOO TO THAT!
