hey everyone....has anyone ever used the qhemet products and started getting a tingly feeling all over your head? my boyfriend says that my hair must be growing...I'm just curious if anyone else has gotten this sensation? I guess from the MSM?

I've noticed when using BT or Viviscal I get a tingle in my scalp - not quite itchy, but like it's tingling. And when I have alot of NG or my hair is growing quickly, my scalp gets sore - especially at the crown. A nice scalp massage and making sure you get rid of scalp build up will keep it in check.

I agree with Soleil that a scalp massage is in order. Any time your head feels weird, better safe than sorry. Most people claim to get growth from the tingling, but because tingling could mean a lot of things to different people, those who've lost hair can tell you they felt a sensation that wasn't normal. Sometimes it's a soreness--which for some means growth spurt; sometimes it's increased sensitivity--so that when the wind blows you feel a tingle. Since massage is a good way to keep scalp supple and ensure you don't get that tight scalp that's typical of bald folks, just give yourself a good massage when you feel a tingle. If indeed you were having a growth spurt, then encourage it by increasing blood circulation. If it were an omen of follicles not feeling their best, then increased circulation will bring nourishment and oxygen that they might just have been lacking. You have nothing to lose by massaging.

good post.

my scalp has been feeling "weird" and I've been shedding a lot. I would say it felt kind of tingly and sore in certain areas.

I will add massages to my regime :yep:

I didn't shed as much last wash so I think my current regime is working :yay:
