Timing and Second Chances

Ladies would you give someone a second chance if the timing was off, like they had a GF you had a BF, or you were young, lived far apart, etc...but you knew there was something there but just never really got the chance to find out? What would you do? When would you say no way I'm giving him a second chance it's too late.TIA

im in a situation like that now, not having to deal with being taken on either end, just timing is off and I asked that if we are meant to be together to bring him to me when he's ready and if its meant to be it will be...in a heartbeat i would see whats up at another time if Im still feeling like I want to be with him....I would only not do a second chance if i wasn't feeling like wanting to be with him or I am in another situation or something, not because I hold anything against him or anything like that

Maybe.

I was just talking to a guy today (married with kids) and he said that really, it's not about how compatible two people might be, the main key to determining whether their relationship can work is if the timing is right and they're both ready for the same thing.

(I love working with men... I feel like every day I step into this relationship laboratory where I can test theories or watch them play out in real life.)

its easy for me to trust.....three major relationships in my life i have had specific feelings around them even when at the present moment externally things and timing were off and they all came to transpire in time plus i've learned to listen to my heart and intuition

I guess that is a good way to explain my current situation. We were teens when were were first together but by the time we thought we could get serious were were seniors and parted ways to go to college. We both look at it as we had to go grow up, find our paths, and experience life before we could appreciate one another.

If this is supposed to happen then it will happen but either way I will have no regrets about the attempt to make this work. The entire time we were apart my mind would drift back to him. I would regret things even more if we did not give it a good try.
