Time-release vitamins

Does anyone have any clue on generally how long it takes for these types of vitamins to fully be released? If it takes a full day or half a day or what. Just wondering if anybody knew. I e-mailed Puritan Pride my question, but I don't know, they might not want to disclose the info. The vitamin is B-complex B-50 Time Release. "Specially formulated to provide a gradual release of Vitamins over a prolonged period of time."

Well from an article I read many years ago, time released vitamins are a waste of money. It said something about them just being a ploy to get more money out of a consumer (they cost a little more). What ever the thing is that causes it to be released, sometimes, doesnt release, and you wind up getting NO benefits at times. I really didnt want to post this because I dont have the article to physically back up what am saying. So for many, this post will neither be here nor there. I myself am not sure how accurate the info is. It even went as far as to say that all vitamins are in a sense time released, so adding an element to them to make them even more time released would kind of make them slower--unnecessarily slower

Thanks for that info. Now I'm wondering if I should return them and get the regular ones. PP did respond, they said it should be completely released by 6 hours.
