So I'm 'posed to be committed to my organic hair cross over, but I was in Pure Beauty on Sunday, and I found a good deal that was too good to pass up. :ohwell:

They had a HUGE set of the TIGI Dumb Blonde poo & con for $9.98!!!! It's regular price $19.98, and the chick that worked there hooked me up. I went in there looking for something natural w/ protein since Whole Foods wasn't near where I was, but then she showed it to me and told me it was "on sale." (I think she fudged a lil bit.) Besides that, I had always wanted to try the Dumb Blonde reconstructor b/c I heard it was good.

If I read correctly, there's a debate here about whether the reconstructor is strengthening or moisturizing...
Anyone who's used the poo and/or con...please weight in!! :D

Hello,

I use the TIGI Dumb Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner periodically. I consider these products to be strengthing and somewhat moisturizing. I use the conditioner as a mask with heat for 20 minutes and then I use a moisturizing conditioner with no heat for an hour. I get the best results this way. I like both of the products alot they do strengthen my hair in between heavy protein treatments.

I bought the dumb blonde reconstructor today and used it. I like it, it smells like apples to me and it made my hair feel soft.

Who else likes the Tigi Dumb Blonde Reconstructor?

Today, Trade Secrets had the large bottles on sale for $12. It was regular $31, so I just had to buy it. :D I remember some raving about it, but I just wanted to hear more responses before I try it.

I bought this line and I'm in love with it. I peeped someone's album a long time ago and remembered how well it worked when I saw it on sale at Trade Secret. I usually clarify weekly especially in the summer (cause I can overdose on conditioners:D), so I did and used the DB reconstructor as a hair mask for about 15mins. I then used Moisture Maniac with honey and alittle hair oil and left it in without heat for about 1hr. Let me tell you my hair came out soooo soft. (BTW I'm transitioning) I mean literally my hair was sooooo easy to comb. I air dried with a twist out (like usual) and the next day my hair was still lovely. I can say it works for me right now.;)

I loved the Dumb Blonde Poo and COnditioner! I dont use it anymore, but it worked.

Same here. I'm a die-hard Kerastase junkie now, but I used Dumb Blonde for a while a few years ago and I liked it.

I still have the bottle of shampoo because it's the HUGE one. I don't know what to do with it, I would feel bad throwing it away.

I had a huge bottle of the shampoo too, ended up giving that away but the conditioner ROCKS!! :yep:

I recently ran out and was waiting for it to go on sale again (though I'm pretty sprung on my henna treatments). It's a very good product and smells good!! :lick:

My favorite use for it was to apply at night, on dry hair, tie down with a satin scarf till morning, rinse and proceed as usual. It worked pretty good when I did that and used the steam treatment before shampooing.
