Three strand twists

Does anyone have any comparison pics of three strand twists vs. two strand twists. This can be either on children's hair or on adult hair. Is one better than the other? Does one make for a better twist set than the other? What's the deal?

I;ve seen other ppl do it on youtube, and the twists holds better than the 2 strands.

Tried it once. It's more work than it's worth and the undo was a nightmare. I shared my experience in this post after Pokahontas the OP shared a vid of doing them on her hair in the first post.

ETA that the 3-strand twist didn't look as cute on my hair as the 2-strand twists but maybe it's because I needed more practice. Erm...won't be getting good at it ever coz I'm never doing it again so no practice planned. LOL

i like the 3 strand twist. It has a tighter twist look, ie more coil turns on my hair (4b) than the 2 strand.
