When you do your touch ups do you relax all of the new growth or do you leave like 1/8th inch from the scalp unrelaxed (not a word)? I was thinking about doing that (in April) when I do my touch up.

Except for my nape and edges I leave about an 1/8th. I definately make sure I don't hit my scalp.

I hit my scalp, but then again, I use a super scalp friendly no-lye. I dont even base my scalp and I have never burned.
