THIS MAYBE A SILLY QUESTION; DO TEXTURIZERS STRAIGHTEN OR CURL

I WAS WONDERING IF I SHOULD GET A TEXTURIZER TO MAKE MY HAIR MORE MANAGABLE BUT I DONT WANT IT PERM STRAIGHT. MY HAIR IS NECK LENGTH AND I HAVE NOT HAD A PERM IN 19 MONTHS.

WHICH IS A BETTER PROCESS IN GROWING HAIR OUT TEXTURIZER, NATURAL OR PERM?

texturizers loosen your curl and can straighten your hair if left on too long or smoothed to much. since you are new here i would suggest getting more tips from this site in managing your natural hair and seeing how that works before you apply chemicals.

Natural is always the best if you can manage it, As a Nigerian, I always that feel natural hair should be cornrowed or braided to prevent tangles and breakage.

If you just to loosen your curl for a little bit, then you can texturize (basically a mild relaxer), but if left on too long, texturizer will straighten your hair completely. So watch the clock if you choose to go this route
