This is what 60 WEEKS post looks like!!!

Good job! It's best to wait if you're not sure about whether you want to relax again, or continue what you're doing. I stretched for a year, and that was just enough time for my poor traumatized relaxed ends (4-5 inches) to become fragile, dry and weak. My stretched natural new growth is now 10X's healthier than my relaxed ends, and I have decided to transiiton to texlax very soon, as the relaxed part has already started to BC itself! Your 60 weeks post looks to me like you're doing an awesome job on caring for all your new growth. Is it driving you crazy trying to meet the needs of two different textures of hair??!!:spinning:

That is outstanding LongHairDontCare! :yay: Please do share everything you can about your regimen and how you wear your hair from day to day. You've been wigging it lately? I'm almost 27 wks and I've been half wigging lately. I want to be like you when I grow up.

my reggie is very simple right now.
i have it posted on my blog (but per the new rules *i* can't post the link :spinning:)

so i'll break it down for my girls in here, too....
  • overnight DC weekly with coconut oil/cholesterol
  • weekly co-wash with coco-cholesterol treatment
  • weekly mild protein treatment with motions CPR
  • leave-in w/ tigi by bed head moisture maniac (i saturate my hair with this)
  • weekly detangle
  • 2-strand flat twist corn rows (b/c i don't know how to braid :drunk: )
  • moisturize daily
to detangle
  • saturate hair with leave-in
  • saturate hair with aphogee green tea
  • satruate hair with detangling spray if necessary....sometimes it is not necessary
  • apply some oil
  • comb out hair with wide tooth comb in sections
i also henna every 4-6 weeks and shampoo with diluted 'poo after the henna.

that's it! and prior to these corn rows, i was bunning and co-washing like 3 times per week. i find that the less "agitation" my hair goes through the easier it is to detangle which is why i adopted the corn rows in to my reggie...for now :)

hope this helps!
