That is a good article...I just need someone to help me stay away from sugar! /images/graemlins/spank.gif

But I think you can still have healthy hair even if you use commercial hair products. The ladies on this board are evidence of it. /images/graemlins/smile.gif Natural products can be expensive and come in smaller quantities, so I don't know if it would be worth switching to all natural products. /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

Thanks for sharing Aerie. I'm a sucker for natural methods.

Poohbear, I feel your pain. I stayed away from sugar for years till an allergy test proved I wasn't sensitive to sugar and now I've gotten myself hooked on it. /images/graemlins/nono.gif
Why oh why??? /images/graemlins/whyme.gif I get no nutritional value from it... /images/graemlins/wallbash.gif and now I'm struggling to give it up again. /images/graemlins/cry3.gif I need one good and thorough /images/graemlins/spank.gif

Yeah, it's like what's the purpose of taking Super B complex and then eating something with sugar that destroys B vitamins? Today, I'm going to make an effort to do away with sugar...I'll surely miss my favorite candy twizzlers and other things with sugar like chocolate, cookies, icecream, certain drinks, and even certain foods. /images/graemlins/whyme.gif

I need to watch my sugar too i have been craving and eating a lot of sugar. I'm taking Super B Complex too.

this was a great article and like Poohbear and Nonie sugar is my weakness. I LOVE CANDY. I LOVE SWEETS!!! Not a day goes by that i don't eat a few pieces of candy. And I almost always eat ice cream at night. I mean, who can go to sleep without eating ice cream?

I know I know, I need help. Without the sweets I go through withdrawal

great that you are sharing such valuable info, aerie17....

this time-honored article is an affirmation of my lifestyle and how i consume food and supplements on a daily basis.... I hope many of the other ladies take heed to this info... /images/graemlins/up.gif

Good article. I will admit that I am addicted to sugar and consume it everyday. I don't know how to curb those cravings...any suggestions ladies? I need some sugar alternatives.

Giving up sugar cold turkey is the best in my experience. It triggers something in you to crave more when you eat it. The less you eat it the less you want it. Really spicy foods kill my craving for it. Someone else told me that he eats sweet peppers, when he craves it. Also, iron deficiencies trigger sugar cravings.

I need help too.

I once gave it up for a few months so I know I can do it. I tried this time to buy healthy snacks, but it is nothing like the taste of some candy. /images/graemlins/lick.gif
