Shimmie, when I read your post and got to Jesus is Lord, ooh, that made me lift my hands and gave me chills.
People - believers, non-believers and everything this world throws has created can say whatever they want, but there's something so final and undeniable about the pure truth that Jesus is Lord.
I love that there isn't a comma, question mark or a dash behind it. It ends with a period and that simply means - Enough said. Nothing more can be added or taken away. It doesn't leave room for opinion or debate. It is as sure as the ground we stand on. Jesus is Lord!!
Ooh. I feel like Jeremiah as God's word was shut up in his bones.
Off topic: As I watched everyone celebrate Obama's victory and how people as far away as Africa and many of the states here, celebrated, danced, screamed yelled... I thought how to myself awesome it would be if for one night people everywhere came together to celebrate God and His majesty like they did for our re-elected pres. Not sure the earth could contain it.
