thinking of switching stylist.

the reason why is because in the last 2 relaxers that I had, she put relaxer all the way to my ends. I asked her why she was doing this and she said that my hair was underprocessed. Now, I have only being going to her for relaxers for the past 6 years- back when my hair was cut vey short. She never did that, now why is she doing this all of a sudden now that my hair is almost bra-strap length. What do you'll think about this. I have been wearing protective styles to minimize any potential damage, but my hair has been shedding an awful lot.

!!! You should definitely find another stylist before you have no more hair to get relaxed. She put the relaxer in your hair all the way to the ends twice? That means she's the one underprocessing your hair. NOT GOOD. Could it be that she wants to cause your hair to break and shed so that she can have your hair short again like she's used to. I had a friend who does hair and she told me that she HATES doing long hair and that she is only good at doing short hair.
Truthfully though, for her styling short hair means more $$$. It's high maintenance, you need them more and that's what they want

I need to find someone who is good with long hair. I am so skeptical now. In the meantime, how can I counteract the overprocessing without cutting my hair.

I would do a serios protein treatment. Like dudley's DRC 28 (if can find it) or Aphogee or (my personal fav)sebastian penetraitt.
