Thinking about getting hair sewn in

for winter and I was wondering what ways could I keep my hair moisturized up under the hair.... I know I can grease the parts but what can I do about the braided hair... Any help will do

If you have relaxed hair, you have to really concentrate on keeping your hair moisturized underneath the weave or it can dry out.

Some ladies like to spray their tracks with Scurl moisturizer or any other kind of moisturizer. Personally, I like to spray my hair with water/glycerin/aloe and an essential oil combo that I put together. You may want to try spraying with distilled water too. just a few suggestions but I hope they help.

i have a sew in now...i just moisturize my scalp with olive oil moisturizer and wild growth oil. i put wild growth oil on my braids as well as spraying it with olive oil, oil sheen.

I have a sewn-in weave now too...I alternate between Infusium 23 and Hot Six Oil everyday. I don't know how often you're supposed to moisturize your hair, but I just prefer to do it each day so I won't have to worry about having a lot of breakage when I take it out.

The only thing I do is apply Profectiv anti-itch oil to my scalp, or their 3-n-1 phase oil. Every now and then, I wet my scalp, but I haven't shampooed my hair since I redid the weave. My hair isn't very dirty though, since I only use 2 products.

I am loving the weave. I don't have to fool around with my hair underneath the weave at all. Just make sure the edges look nice. Now, the edges are the dirtiest since I am forever slicking them with gel.

my hair has grown a ton. im in week 8 of mine, and the middle of my hair is growing like weeds, lol...i moisturize every night and wash and condition on sunday night.

i think you can get wildgrowth oil from most beauty stores, not all. its expensive for the lil bottle you get, but you dont need a ton on your head because the smell isnt the greatest. you can also go to their website, tho im not sure of the exact site.
