Is your length distorted by your hair's thiness. Although I can feel my hair (the back of it) touching my armpits, it appears shoulder length(at most).Does anyone else notice this? Any tips on growing thin hair?

Wish I had a better picture to show but I'm at work and this is all I have.

I am the same way, where my hair feels APL but looks perpetually SL. I don't think it has anything to do with thinness though...more like hair anorexia.

What I have noticed about my hair with the thinness is that the longer my hair gets, the thinner it looks. I've been trying to counteract that with regular trims and dustings, because to me, when my ends are reasonably even, the rest of my hair looks thicker too.

yes I totally can relate. before I got my trim my hair was just at APL and it did not looks as long because its thin.low density. I have a friend who has very thick hair and my is longer. Everyone compliments how long her hair is( she is a tad bit past SL). We have been standing next to each other and some would say wow your hair is long but I dont get the same response I guess because its so thin. My hair is indeed healthy looking and we wore it the same straight down no layers so I know that is not the problem.
