i may try that....but first im interested in getting rid of the flakes i have, then i'll see about which products to use...i just want to know that i can get rid of them, if they ever return, ya know?

I had the same issue....me being a newbie I used to Surge like the world was coming to an end. erplexed Not anymore, i only spray lightly.

anyways, the way i got rid of the flakes is by using a clarifying shampoo. I use Nexxus because the cleansing agent is not all that harsh. also i only applied the shampoo to my roots and had conditioner on my ends so it would not dry out my hair. Im just guessing that your ACV rinse may not be strong enough to remove the Surge residue.

your problem will be solved. just be wise when using it from now on.

I had a flakey scalp too. Then I got burned later. I had in braids also and wasn't rinsing everyday. I soooooo want to not use this product, but after seeing ccd's hairline I plan on doing it for the entire summer.
