Amla is definitely a keeper :yep: I like to mix it with brahmi oil. I rotate this as a hot oil pre-poo every other week and I can instantly feel a difference in my hair after using it.

maybe i'll try the brahmi oil. i have the powder. i do like mixing the amla with the coconut oil. maybe i can alternate. i dont want overkill if i put all of them together:perplexed

I would suggest trying the FNWL brand. It's definitely doesn't have the strong fragrance of the Dabur brand and it doesn't have the mineral oil either.

i get it from FNWL and never smelled the dabur but i dont smell a strong scent from FNWL. its lite

I must say this week has me using Amla oil on a constant basis:yay: . Before I used only every other week or so as a Pre Poo, but I just got a big order in and I was thinking how am I ever gonna use all of this so.,, I found myself out of a suitable daily leave in and I resisted the urge to go out and buy more NTM or ORS olive oil. So I decided to revive my old lacio lacio. I first brought lacio lacio and it never impressed me like salerm. In fact it did not do anything for me so I decided to put Amla oil in it, since the bottle was about 3/4's full. I put the mixture on my hair and tied my hair with my scarf for the night. The next morning I could not stay out of the mirror or keep my hands out of my hair:blush:. My hair looked like I just got a relaxer and was so soft, my ends were neat and my hair felt stronger, Your right it was no need for a flat iron what so ever. I'm glad to find a new way to use my amla more frequently and not just on wash days. I know the JB castor oil makes my hair straight and soft too, but this is different in fact more impressive. Vatika oil makes my hair straight and if feels a little stonger but the amla is even better than that. I was too lazy :spank: to start a thread about it, So I'm so glad you were not.

oh yes!! i had to tell! it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to unbelievable!!
isnt it? and you know what? i worked out yesterday and thats why i pulled my hair in a ponytail. i made sure it was pretty taut and misted the tail, like i mentioned earlier, and when i was done i waited several hours and took it down and it was still str8! what?!?!?! :yay:
i'm so totally sold on this stuff!:drunk:

Okay I had to go back and read this again  you worked out and afterwards it was still straight. It's good to know this because when I used my amla mixture I skipped my morning workout because I wanted to have a good hair day and I thought the sweat would ruin it. Man no more excused now:)

i really did. NOW...i broke a lite sweat but even with those lite sweats my natural hair reverts. i had planned on washing my hair(is it disgusting that i didnt:look: ) but i didnt need to. i am not lying though, you wouldnt think i sweated...period!

So the Alma oil from Dabur smells bad? I know some people thought the Vatika oil smelled, but that doesn't really bother me. The Alma smells much worse?!

I'm such a loser because after the amla made my hair look so great it started to smell real good in fact I like it now:crazy:

Amla doesnt even smell bad :perplexed

maybe someone got the out of date stuff

it smells fruity
lol

I WOULD DIE WITHOUT AMLA OIL

straight-up

Love, Candy .x.

You really have to try the brahmi oil. I'm not sure how it compares with the powder, but this combined with the amla oil really does something for my hair. You're right it may be a little overkill to put all of them together

CicilyPayne: So are you stating that you mix the lacio lacio and amla oil together to use as a leave-in??
I just started using the lacio lacio again and was thinking of mixing it with amla or vatika to use as a leave-in/setting lotion for my rollersets....

i also noticed less shed hair when i combed out on wash day after using amla oil all week:D . does that help with limiting the amount of shedding that is normal to have?

I was just on Victoria's Secret website and for $45 (yikes!) they have this
It has amla and henna. Has anyone tried this?

I just saw something about this the other day... I think it's supposed to be a richer vatika oil?? It looks like it contains all the same ingredients except for the avocado oil... I hate to say it, but I may have to try this

i'm all for paying good money for a good product but is this really worth it? i mean if its the same thing you buy straight or how its manufactored with vatika or dabur, whichever:lol: , then why not go with the pure stuff? i dont know, seems like you're paying for the VS name:look:
we'll see....keep us posted
