The wind just gave away my weave!

I just got a kinky weave and it's my first time so I let the stylist do whatever she thought was best. I paid hundreds so I figure that I'm getting the best right? I love it but there's one problem- I let her weave up my edges and now they look obviously hidden whenever the wind blows them.

For those of you who know a little something about weaves and/or have gotten one, does it get better?? Will my new growth blend into the hair? If not, I'm gonna need to take a trip back there as soon as possible and get my edges unbraided!

You should leave your edges unbraided so they don't break off.

I didn't even think about that I should've done my research on here before getting weaved up

They will eventually loosen. Or you can try washing to loosen the braids a little (depends on what kinda hair you have installed though. Otherwise if they're braided up for most braid patterns she would have to take down the whole thing and redo it in order to free your edges.
