@Dee-Licious any gel your hair reacts well too should work. You just need something that coats the strands to induce shine and provides hold. Oh, and use a very good moisturizer under it that doesn't leave your hair looking dull.

To prove the point that this is way over priced and because I lov yall, I acted a fool at work just now (I took my front twists out from under my hat and everything.

Lets see if a pen really works like it did for me in the 5th grade.

Roll in the pictures.....

waste of money and website looks like circa 2002....and if you focus is natural/afro hair then showcase coarser textures too....NEXT.

I am going to start blasting black hair companies that only use fine textured models but claim to be a black hair companyo_O

im mad that someone actually thought they could get this off and try to charge upwards of fiddy dollas for this....

then @AdoraAdora24 came through with a testimony using a pen. Someone should post a video using a pen lololol........omg.....the jokes write themselves.

The WET Wand technique was shattered because the same was achieved using a DRY PEN. A WRITING pen.....

Product suggestion for 4c hair?

TGIN twisting cream (I forget the exact name). You can use it on wet or dry hair but I hate how it feels on my wet fingers. Also don't use too much. I havent tried many twisting creams, but anything thick and kinda sticky/gummy should work. Gel is also great.

No pics....but I did purchase a 4-pack of plastic mixing spoons with varying lengths from Dollar Tree. I combed out a damp section of hair and wrapped it around the handle with a little dab of gel in the end. Held it for about a minute and I had a nice shiny sausage curl!! Let it dry then separated. SAME RESULT AS THE VIDEO!! Why would anyone spend $99? LOL

Fantastic!!

For visual... THESE ARE PRETTY MUCH THE "Wet Wand", but prettier.

Do comb coils even really work on 4c hair? If so, product suggestions?

I’m not about wasting my time.

I use Curls Blueberry twist cream for my daughter's comb coils. She has 4c. Sometimes I'm even lazy and skip the comb to just twirl small sections with my fingers. As long as I saturate the strand with enough product, it stays and even gets a little sheen.
