The vitamin guy!

Hi Ladies! I'm new to the forum and wanted to say hi and tell you what prompted me to sign up!

After hearing about biotin I decided to get some from my local GNC. Well I went into the store and was looking around for a bottle. The sales guy comes up to me and asks me what I need. So I said "Biotin". And then he says "Oh you need that for your hair, right? Let me get it for you."

Ladies I was floored! /images/graemlins/blush.gif I was kinda embarrassed and surprised at the same time that he knew what it was for!

Is it just me or is everyone at the vitamin store aware of biotin and what it's used for ??

It does seem to feel like that sometimes doesn't it. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif Well I have to say that depending on the vitamin store I go to, folks usually have no idea what I want my supplements for. But there is a neighborhood health food store that I can actually go to and tell them what is going on with me and they have dieticians there that can steer me in the right direction.

hey that biotin works! My hair started growing rapidly since i started taking it, i love it. My only complaint is that...the hair on my head is not the only hair growing rapidly but other hair on my body =( i sometimes feel like i have to shave twice a day sometimes. My bf was commenting on my stubbly legs ! /images/graemlins/angry2.gif
