Hi everyone,
Just a word of warning be Very careful with braids. I lost my hairline AGAIN. Except this time it wasn't due to too tight braids and cornrows, but to rock-hard build up that no amount of conditioner, unbraid spray, or patience could untangle.
I did everything right: moisturize frequently, dilute all shampoos and conditioners, shampooed only once each week, but rinse with water at least 2x in between. Infact I haven't used any conditioner in the last month (since I redid them) only a mixture of Infusium and braid spray carefully applied with a sea sponge to avoid the scalp area except after shampooing, and yet I still had build up so bad I had to cut another section out.
I can't stretch my relaxer past 8 weeks without braids and my hair only grow 1/4" each month which would result in seriously overlapping if I get a touch up every 8 weeks. I'm just tired of all this, trying to grow and maintain healthy hair is like a full time job... .
See for yourself and please learn from my mistake (mine was to use CON on my braids, I never had build up issues when I used Humectress to shampoo my braids).

pw: cando (feels more like can't do)
