Exposing Satan’s Master Plan
2 Corinthians 2:11 “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” The main device that Satan uses against the church is unforgiveness. When you get into unforgiveness it will totally and completely paralyze your spiritual life. It will hinder your gifts from being received by the Lord and stop your prayers from being answered. It will hinder God from forgiving you and hinder your spiritual warfare.
Here is the danger. If a person yields to a seducing spirit and does it long enough, it will first come to distort truth, then pervert truth and destroy it. So today there are gay churches where homosexuals and lesbians go who claim to be Christian and they try to take scripture and prove that their lifestyle is okay before God. What happens is that their conscience becomes seared.
1 Timothy 4:1-2 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” That searing of the conscience is connected to the seducing spirit. When the seducing spirit works against a persons mind, they begin to give into the seduction and lie and their mind becomes confused and they then get to where they justify the lie and the sin. The word conscience means ‘to know with.’ It is the part of the mind or soul that governs the knowledge that we receive in our life. The conscience is our ability to determine between what is right and wrong. This is a battle in the thought life. The word
sear means to brand as with a cattle branding iron. Continual sin and disobedience to God brings a hardness in the persons conscience and they get to where they don’t want to determine that something is right or wrong as if there are no absolutes.
They start saying, “whatever religion you are is fine, there is no one way that is right or the only way, it doesn’t matter if your are a Catholic or a Baptist or other. They all lead to God. There is no absolute right or wrong.”
These are deceptions and the greatest danger. They are the end result of being deceived by a seducing spirit. The end result of Satan’s Master Plan and deception against you is to cause your conscience to become seared to where you no longer are responding to the calling of the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 6:3a “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man.” This is the truth. The Holy Spirit will come and convict you if you have done something wrong. You will feel a burden and uneasiness until you make it right. As long as you have this conviction of the spirit it shows that you have some kind of relationship with God. This is the first way that God chastises us and deals with us when we sin. He will let you know that your spirit is not right until you go back to the cross and repent.
You don’t get saved again, but go back to make your relationship right. With a true child of God, when you sin, you will be convicted and will feel miserable in your spirit and you need to be thankful for that. If you ever get to the point where you can sin and not be convicted by it, then sin has hardened your conscience and it has become seared and you are under the control of some form of seducing spirit. Your conscience is like an inner voice that speaks to you when you break God’s laws. Yet so many today can do horrible things and have no conscience or remorse. You have to be careful what you allow into your spirit.
That's my story and sad to say at first I just found the responses from my "fellow laborers" strange, I thought we were all working for our Father, so when insecurities showed up, like a fool I would be the one pulling back and backing down trying to encourage and let them get above me for peace sake. It resulted in more hatred (sorry I can no longer call it anything else)
