I started using NTM conditioner about a year and a half ago. The first time I used it..ahhhhh, I was in heaven... that stuff made my hair so soft and buttery--I loved it. Now, I don't get the same results I once got. I find that I have to often "doctor" it with oil (Africa's Best:lick:) to get that super moisturized feeling like my very first time.

Is it really possible that the hair can get used to a product that you use very often that it just stops working or that it delivers mediocore results compared to your very first time? :ohwell: Or is it us..are we just used to the results and grow tired of the same ole, same ole in search for somethiing possibly better?

What cha think?:ohwell:

this used to happen to me in the past before I discovered clarifying. Once I started clarifying, my hair didn't become "used' to the products anymore.

I think we just get tired/used to it

The only conditoner that my hair just seems to love with no question is ors replenish, so i buy the big bottle, and halfway through, i start thinking i want to try something else or some crazy mess----so i go buy something else, doesnt work as usual, and i come back to my product and it works like a charm and i swear i'll never waste my money again (but i always go through this because im a pj)

I think we should stick to our staples, but we just get bored and want to try other things
