They have this stuff in a blue box at sallys and it has these pills u punch out and mix with a solution. Its with the other treatments like aphoghee, etc. Its supposed to repair damaged hair. There used to be someone I knew a long time ago who swore by this product. She had very pretty long hair too. Im tempted to try it but my hair isnt really very damaged so it could be overkill with the other treatments I do.

Anyone used this product?

My favorite hairdresser in the whole wide world in NC used this on her clients. I've purchased it but only used it once. I just got it because she raved about it (lol), but I didn't ahve that much damage at the time. But she used it on my friend a couple of times and I saw an improvement in her breakage.

Supposedly it is the ish. I bought and used up the whole box and it was aiight.

hmmm....so I guess the jury is out...lol.
SO,Im using the DRC 28 tomorrow, Ill let u know the results!

I tried this stuff many years ago and hated it! I wasn't looking for any particular type of improvement in my hair because it wasn't damaged, but I remember that it made my hair feel rough and difficult to comb when it is normally soft and manageable. I think the reason I bought it was because it said it was supposed to strengthen hair and, even though I didn't feel my hair needed strengthening, I figured the stuff couldn't hurt. I was wrong.

Also, I felt I had to use more solution than what was recommended because the dosage was so small it could not cover the length and thickness of my hair. I think it had about six or eight pills in the package and the instructions said you should use one or two per treatment but that was impossible for me. So I felt like I was cheated out of my money, but that's true with most hair products that come in small doses.

Even worse, I think I bought it and tried it again a year or so later and had the same awful experience. I told myself that it might be better that time around. I guess I just couldn't resist the cute concept of making the solution out of the little pills. I have to admit that it was fun shaking them up in the little bottle.

If you do try it, I hope your results are much, much better than mine.

I feel that it must work for someone, otherwise it shouldn't still be on the market after all these years. Maybe it's been improved.

I use to use it when my hair was short. I like it a bunch. Then again, my hair was so healthy at the time, I liked everything I put in it. Infact, I have a whole box of Hair Fixer under my sink that I haven't used. I think I'll finally use it now....

I used it and it was HORRIBLE on me. I lost so much hair after using it....

I also heard it was an amazing conditioner. Not so for me.

I've used this several times. The first time I used was over a decade ago. I put a relaxer in my hair, it overprocessed my hair. My hair was coming out in clumps. I went to my favorite dominican beautician and she used this in my hair. After the first application my hair stop breaking and it seem stronger. She used it for about 2 months then she stopped.

The second time I used it was about 2 years ago. I saw it in the BSS and thought if it worked wonders then it should even work better now. I was wrong!!!! My hair wasn't damaged and all it did was make my hair hard and dry. My hair is normally dry but this made it crunchy dry.

I think it should only be used if your hair is damaged.

I used it years ago. I had no negative effects from it but I don't remember now if it really "fixed" my hair.
