I'm a fine 4b and it gives me fullness. I do this method without bantu knotting it though. fivetimestwo

This is a good texture shot of her hair. @laurend, her hair doesn't look like your texture (I did laurend's hair once), but I think it could have similar results. Have you tried bantu knot outs, on wet or dry hair? I think dry hair would give the softer beach waves look.

I never knew it was considered beach waves. I just called it a loose twistout, lol.
