The most amazing thing ever!!

I have no idea if anyone has ever tried this but I had to share!! I was experimenting with MN when I came up with this brilliant idea. Since I have a weave and I still wanted to use it but it was hard to put on my scalp cuz of the braids. So I took an empty bottle and put MN, EVOO, jojoba oil, BB Super Gro Hair dressing, Palmer's Coconut Oil Hair Dress, and Dr. Miracle's Hot Gro in it. Then I put it in the microwave for 15 seconds and put the hot oil on my head!! I know that this isnt an original idea but I was so happy that I had to share! Thanks for listening!!!

Ummm, not to rain on your parade, but I don't think you were supposed to heat up the MN. I believe I read that it more than likely destroys the chemical properties of the MN itself. I believe there's some posts in the original MN thread discussing this, but in the meantime, I hope someone will come in here and correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey now!! Don't ever feel dumb, I'm still kinda new here myself, and I learned lots of stuffs. There's always next time gurlie. I'm going to see what I can find out for you, but I could have sworn it was advised not to warm up the MN though. Off to search.....

Don't feel dumb!! It's just trial and error honey, we all go through it. But yes, heating up MN does take away from the effect of it's chemical properties, thus making it less effective for it's intended use.

Hey there. I'm still new here and I think I read that you're not supposed to heat the MN. Don't feel bad and don't throw away the mix. It sounds great. You may have to add more MN to it. Good luck I hope your MN mix will give good results!

Sorry I had to get that out the way. You remind me of me... willing to be a pioneer. I agree with my fellow sistas. Dont feel bad/dumb. We all learn new things all the time. (If you're anything like me, I know you'll still use your Improved hot oil treatment--WE WONT WASTE those precious ingredients including the MN even if the chemical properties are altered, okay )
