What a friggin waste of my money. I have a perfectly working Corioliss and should not have even taken the time to purchase. It was an absolute disappointment and not worth my time or money. I am going to tell Mr. Postman to get this retched contraption and take it back to the "Twinkle Toes "who sells it on TV. (I am not gay bashing AT ALL I am just bashing him :look:)!!!

Wow!....I'm sorry to hear that. Thanks for sharing, my mom wanted one, but I tell her not to buy it....:perplexed

OK, I have used one but I don't own it.
Here's my review.
Not worth buying.
I didn't hate it... I used it on my Aunt with relaxed shoulder length hair.
It curls well.
It doesn't seem like too much heat.
But it doesn't get any kind of special results.
The brush doesn't really come in contact with the hair and has no real purpose.
It makes you wish you could squeeze it harder but you can't.
I think it would be a disaster for natural hair but haven't and won't try it on natural hair.

Sorry about the instyler, I never bought into that curls with less heat stuff. My curling iron works just fine.

Mook, your hair is  worthy. I'm in love

What annoys me about this thing, is that no matter what video I find to look at...it always looks like some chick with a braid out or finger-frazzled hair who they are claiming to "tame" with it. We all know it doesn't take much to straighten practically straight hair. :eyeroll: They even grabbed a black chick in one talking about she has naturally curly hair...but the piece of hair he grabbed was STRAIGHT already!!

Lmao it is straight! He tried to put his hand in the way so that u couldn't see it properly but her ends were already straight, lol.

i have it and i have no complaints about it.

it straightens very well. i think technique has a LOT to do with the results you get from this appliance.

sorry you feel you wasted your money.

Funny you should ask. My aunt bought this for me 2 weeks ago. I just got around to using it last week on my hair after I air dried. It ok. I never love nor hate it. My only complaint is that you cannot get too close to the roots because of the brush thing.

Yup, I hated it too. I promptly returned it to Bed, Bath and Beyond. I have 4a natural hair and I felt like it literally was ripping my hair out..That infomercial is bogus

I didn't trust it when it first came out, but lately i've been curious... but now i know. I'll stick to my Maxiglide and sedu! If it aint broke, then dont fix it!

i would not have gotten it if my aunt had not bought it for me. Stick with what you have. I stick to my CHI.

Thank you ladies for your input, I was considering purchasing this and I have natural curly hair so ummm...yea. No InStyler for me....

Thanks for the review. I actually considered purchasing this product, but now I definitely will not be.

I like it. I bought one for my daughter who loves her puff but wanted to wear her hair straight sometime. Her hair is really thick so it was difficult to straighten with regular flat irons. I had to go over it too many times for me. With the Instyler one swipe maybe 2 and silky straight hair. Like someone else said i just wish you could get closer to the edges but not a big deal. Here's a before and after:

Your daughter's hair came out nice. Looks good!
I almost bought the instyler today, but I decided not to buy before checking for reviews from the LHCF ladies.

How did the ends come out? I have hard time getting my ends straight when I flatiron my hair. Even when I use the chasing method with a fine tooth comb.

Did the hair get caught in the bristles?

My daughter (14) received one from her dad for her birthday and it does nothing it says its going to do. It gets very hot, it smokes and like a previous poster said the brush does nothing to the hair. I honestly like my Revlon large barrel ceramic 100 times better.

Well, I was given an InStyler as a gift and I love this thing. I was transitioning when I used it and it worked wonders on my new growth. However, it was too hot for my liking for my relaxed ends (they were EXTREMELY damaged and you can adjust the heat setting)

I think it's all about technique as well. I didn't like it at first but once I learned how to really use it, it worked very well. I have 4a/b/c hair if that matters.

I laughed out loud! BTW, they are selling this thing on Ebay for 50 bucks.

the ends came out great that was always a problem with regular flat irons the ends would look crunchy and frizzy
