I've been hair stalking you for awhile. Your mane is my hair porn. :look: Your hair is the perfect length that I want Not too short. Not too long. Just right. I'm somewhat at the exact length that you are except my hair grows in layers (boooo!) . I've been to your blog numerous times. I even went out to buy some hair to do that Marley bun and mines came out retarded.
I need you to post your reggie, your hair journey, transitoning stage (if any) big chop (if any) along with your DNA genetic coding. :look: :rofl:

@divachyk (She was the first person I spoke to when joining the boards. She gave me so much info without even knowing me and I've pretty much stalked her since :yep:)
@DoDo (I secretly want to cut her hair and infuse it into my scalp :look: HER HAIR IS LIFE FOR ME! YASSSSSSS!)
@havilland (Alot of women are going natural because of this woman. Her personality is infectious and her hair is drool worthy :yep)

ashiek 118 on youtube: That is what my hair looks like when I deep condition regularly. When I skip a wash and therefore DC session I hear her cursing me out in my head.

Naptural85: I hate her but I love her. If my hair gets that long and hopefully maybe longer, I will.not.stop.flipping.it!

I just did my bi-yearly flat iron and grew my hair using the following regi:

1.) What is your hair care regimen?

I deep condition once a month with a plastic cap with a moisturizing conditioner. My hair does not like a lot of protein. I then Giovanni Direct Leave or Kinky Curly Knot Today and seal with Coconut Oil. I moisturize and seal daily and it has made a difference with retention. I dust my ends once every 6 weeks and will trim dead ends as needed. I do protective styles 99% of the time and flat iron twice a year. I sleep in silk hats with no hair ties. I co-wash my hair once or twice a week using Tresemme Naturals and use my fingers to detangle and a wide tooth comb when needed. I low poo my hair using Neem and Shea Butter shampoo once a month or as needed.

(2.) Do you take any supplements, If so, What are they?

I take prenatal vitamins along with fish oil and lots of fruits, veggies, and water. I am not sure if it makes my hair grow faster, but my hair is moisturized and soft.

(3.) Currently, how long is your hair and what is your hair type?

My longest layer is just hitting HL now and my hair type is 3C.


(4.) What are the things that you feel have helped you most in achieving and maintaining your hair length?

Patience, protective styling, moisturizing, trimming, exercise, and a supportive husband. I also learned to stop being a product junkie and stick with what works. I try to keep my hands out of my hair and focus on other things.

Oh wow, what a compliment! Thanks so much vmerie. There are so many gorgeous heads of hair on this site that in stalk, natural, relaxed, and in between. Weirdly enough most of the ladies posting/posted in this thread are on that list.

BraunSugar my buddy, i have crossed from the natural side but you still be my buddy and if i ever had pretty coils like yours armed with that thickness, i would have NEVER relaxed.

LaurenMechelle has the thickest relaxed hair i've seen and its so Healthy it's always Shining, you made me want to relax more and more......FINALLY i've done it; so now i'm working on getting my hair blinging like yours.

sunnieb & divachyk, even when i was natural i was visiting relaxed threads to read what's new or what you guys have to share. Always spilling knowledge, Thanks Much!

SeeLexus your hair makes wanna cry sometimes. I forbid you to straighten for length checks because that awesomeness will make 4c girls cry.

lol...i have been keeping it so simple and lazy...either a bun or puff...co-wash or wash once or twice a week...i DC when i have the time, or when my hair is cussing me...so like every 2 weeks...sometimes 3:look: ...the thing that keeps hair on my head is wetting my hair everyday or every other day...either in the shower...or with a spray bottle...even in these cruel canadian winter months:nono:
