The Byte Show

Sharpened

A fleck on His Sword
I discovered The Byte Show this past summer and the ongoing interviews with people of the Father rival more well-known sites. The owner was simply told by Him to "build it and they will come, guests and listeners alike." She trusts in Him completely to keep the site running, which I find encouraging because so few are that trusting these days.

While the information present on the sites covers many different avenues of thoughts, my focus is upon three godly gentlemen who have either confirmed what the Holy Spirit has taught me or answered a lot of questions that I could not have receive elsewhere. I am still trying to get caught up on listening to all of their files; there are nearly 150 of them, mostly an hour and twenty minutes long.

Augusto Perez - A Call To Intercessory Prayer and Prayer And Praying are my current favorites from him.

Pastor Terry Jefferson - Working Out Your Salvation and Standing Strong In Faith

Yusef Battle - I am in the middle of his God and Science/Step-by-Step series--brilliant. I knew there was a reason I felt like praying before, during and after marital relations. LOL!

Yes, there may be things mentioned that will challenge you, but that is a good thing, which should encourage you to take it to the Lord for clarification. Also, these men welcome questions, so if you have any, left them know (and share the answers with us if Our Father leads you to do so). A few things they say I do not agree with, but I have that issue with anyone for no one is perfect. For example, I do not care for TBN, but it does do some good for the Body's sake. My main criteria for listening to anyone who claims to be a teacher ordained by the Most High is taking everything back to Him and His will, giving Him genuine praise and glory constantly, and the subjugation of flesh/uplifting of spirit.

Praise to you, Jesus, for feeding my spirit in many ways and allowing me to share them with others. May others see Your Light shine ever brighter during the dark days ahead. Amen!

Nymphe,

Welcome back to the forum... :yep:

Thanks for sharing this info and the links.. I'm listening to Yusef Battle now. He really breaks down cleansing: Customizing our salvation experience via an intimate relationship with God.... that's all truth there! I enjoyed his examples of how God's presence in his home is felt when he's praying or praising.. powerful...and ITA God's Presence WILL charge an atmosphere.. Amen!

Thank you, though it will be spotty at best.

I can attest to experiencing His presence due to consistent prayer and keeping Him on my mind when not. It makes me hungry for more and more if I can stop letting life get in the way. *sigh*

Battle's summation of where we want to be spiritually is more concise than any explanation I have given: subdue the body, keep the soul quiet and the spirit strong, which, in turn, keeps the soul and body strong for His purposes. Another guy I listen to phrased it as becoming a willing vessel for which His Spirit can operate strongly through while not letting the body, thoughts and emotions get in the way. In 2008, I realize I do not care much about me, but His will through me. I think He wanted to show me, outside of my little circle of influence, that no, you are not alone in this regard.

Reconciliation

1. Bind up and cast out demons in Jesus' name (authority).
2. Submit your whole body, soul and spirit to Jesus.
3. Read Scripture.
4. Pour out your whole heart out to Him until you have no more words. (The Psalms are great examples of this.)
5. Be quiet and wait.
