Niether for me. I prefer (in this order) Aveda Universal Styling Cream, Qhemet's Sidr Tree Butter Balm, and Qhemet's Heavy Cream.

All of these are mineral oil, petroleum and and the Qhemet's are also silicone free. I don't have a problem with those ingredients, but my hair seems to do better with leavein and moisturizers that do no have these ingredients.

I do like the H20 for sealing if needed. I don't rely on it for pure moisturization.

Out of the 2 you named, they are pretty equal to me, but the H20 cream is more supple and easy to apply in my opinion.

I couldn't vote because I would say neither also. I gave away my Mizani H20 and the ORS Carrot is still sitting. (but if I had to pick between those too, I would go with the Mizani.) I would list my favs as Hair2Heaven Ends All cream, Qhemet's Sidr Tree, and Aveda USC.

*I know, we are kicked out for not following the rules. Sorry.

I like the elast mango butter as well and I love love love profectiv's growth lotion. However, to answer your question I would prefer ORS carrot oil. I used to use it in my pre-poo in my beginner stages of my hair care journey.

I :love:LOVE  Profective's Hair Lotion too!! It makes your hair sooo soft and moisturized and smells really good. (No petroleum or mineral oil  )When I baggy overnight with this thing on.... WHOOOOWEEE!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

sorry don't kill me:lol:

I voted before I read your entire question. I have only used ORS carrot oil and not Mizani h2O. I love ORS carrot oil:love:

Okay, I was missing something when I 1st posted in this thread. I thought it was ORS Olive oil cream, not the Carrot oil.

I have never tried that. It looks too much like grease to me - not a moisturizer.

So like Letitia said, out of the two I would go for the H20 cream, but neither of those are my favorite most moisturizing creams.

I've tried Africa's Best Carrot Oil (similar to the ORS version) and the Mizani H20, and I'd recommend the Carrot Oil in terms of better moisturizing. The Mizani, IMO, is more of a treatment than a moisturizer. I tried using it alone and I didn't like it. It's just not moisturizing enough for me. If I were to try it again, I would use it on top of a moisturizing product (like Carrot Oil). I think that would work better for my hair.

I enjoy the Cantu Shea Butter leave, it is so soft and makes my hair looks great w/o weighing it down, I havent tried the mizani, I love the carrot oil just not the smell.

I like the Carrot Oil (in the jar). Its very moisturizing. I've used the Mizani as well and it does not feel moisturizing but it does seem to coat and make the hair feel soft.

Qhemet Sidr Butter and Heavy Cream
Hair2Heaven EndAll
Hairveda Baggie Cream
Hairveda Shealoe butter

I voted ORS because at the beginning of my haircare journey it was my favorite. My problem was it made my hair look dull so I moved to Keracare Hairdress and stayed there for over a year... then came Aveda. Now I use Aveda and my homemade stuff.

Mizani H20. After looking at Energist's beautiful hair, I bought this a few wks back and Im really glad I did.:)
