So this may not mean much to some of you guys but it meant the world to me.

So me and dd popped into a salon today and I inquired abt getting her hair braided the woman said for a kid she would strt at 35. She then asked dd to remove her hat and she literally jumped back and said,"thats alot of hair we can start hers at 45."

I smiled cause never in a million years did I think anyone would say that to her.

I discovered LHCF when she was 3 and her hair had bald spots, it was dry as hell and constantly breaking.

Now shes five yrs old still type 4z but she has the mosisturized afro-texuted BSL length hair ever!! even though it shrinks up till abt cheek length

Just wanted to say thanks and I love you guys!!

That is a great story. Congrats OP!!

I'd love to know your hair care regimen for your daughter.

My friend is dealing with 2 little ones and I like to give her more options. I already recommended some products that work well for me but she could always use options.

Thanks y'all I knew u guys would understand my excitement! As far as her reggie

I wash 1x a week with shescentit jojoba hemp
DC with heat for 45 min using HSR
Moisturize with Darcy Botanicals transitioning creme and aphogee green tea and keratin seal with CO lightly blowdry and braid her up still damp to stretch it out

As far as styling, I either twist it myself or take her to the shop to get cornrows with a little hair added cause her hair won't lay down for anything. It needs weight to hang if that makes sense.

At night I spray it with water scrunch a little oil in it and we've been baggying it thanks to miss Nonie

That's it! Basically everything we all do but she has retained every centimeter since I "met" you guys

I'll post pics after the holiday party cause I'm actually gonna give her a rollerst for the first time ever

What a good mommy you are! Your post brought a huge smile to my face. Congratulations to Mini-Miss Stress. :-)

That'll be the day when more little chocolate girls are running around with BSL+ hair!

Sounds like you're doing an awesome job, Momma!
