It's funny that you have this and mentioned and started it. I purchased this same clarifying shampoo just 2 months ago and used it once when I took my braids out. I am going to use it again at the end of the month when I take them out again. But I'm glad you did post it cuz I will take more notice when I clarify again.:yep:

yea i use Quantum too.
Pantene Purity is good.
I really wanna try Ion Hard water shampoo tho

I use this too. It's also a chelating poo (per the label) which might be why you noticed such a huge difference this time.

@Poochie, I've used the Ion Hard Water Clarifying Shampoo. Of course it's a chelator also (you can read the ingredients & tell EDTA I believe). It definitely gets all the buildup off of your hair. My hair was SQUEAKY clean. Something you probably wouldn't want more often than once a month or once every month. Overall, I really like it. Nice sized bottle was about $6.00.

Do you all follow up your clarifying shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo or do you go straight to your conditioning process?

Good question.
I heavily dilute my Kenra clarifying and chelating poo with water and apply directly on the scalp and then repeat. I do not follow with a moisturizing poo but go straight to the DC or protein process.
I'll have to keep this Quantum poo in mind when my Kenra finishes....

Yeaaaaaaaaaah that's the ONLY clarifying poo I use! Everything else leaves my grass a HAM. I wash with this then DC and voila! I'm good to go. It's good to get rid of the itching of con buildup from co-washing. :yep:
