Amen to that!sareca said:I love wash n go.
I love henna.
I don't need protective styles.
I'd rather have short healthy hair than long scraggly hair.

this is my goal for 2007...keep my hands out of my hair!!!
(IF ANYONE HAS SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO REACH THIS GOAL, TELL ME)
Thats a great analogy. I totally agree.asubeauty said:-Either I don't know how to stretch my relaxers, or stretching is NOT for me!
-I need to clarify!
-I don't need protective styles all the time... just when I where thick sweaters, wool coats, etc.
-I need to deep condition EVERY TIME I wash.
-Rollersetting is the best thing to happen to my hair 7 or more weeks after a relaxer.
-My hair NEEDS NTM hair mask. I tried to replace it because of the cones, but my hair said![]()

- My hair LOVES coconut oil & amla oil!! (Bought my amla today)
- I love love love my homemade pre-poo!
- Sunsilk Black Shine. My hair is so silky and shiny with that rich black color.
- My hair loves frequent washing. (2-3x week)
- I sweat entirely too much to do co-washes.
- While I can't stretch relaxers for a long time, even going 8 weeks does wonders for my hair.
- Biggest discovery was finding my hair grew past my neck!
What do you use for moisture. I am trying to find the best moisture solution for me. I have the oils thing down, but I need to know what moisture to use before I seal my hair with oils. TIAOneInAMillion said:
- Cutting back on heat makes my hair thicker and helps me retain growth
- I can rollerset my own hair and get salon quality results
- Relaxing 2x a year works well for me
- I can do my own trims and retain plenty of growth
- Moisture = the key to long hair

After trying Qhemet products I finally discovered that my hair does not like butters (shea, cocoa, etc) and thrives on this oil-cream based products.
