I think change is GREAT! with that being said...how about go for the color and cut that you want in a weave? That way you can go as short/blonde as you would like without total commitment and/or the possibility of "cutter's regret" or damage.

Nooooo! Don't cut your gorgeous hair off, you're going to regret it! Color all you want but don't cut! I don't care for the orange reddish color you posted, how about a light auburn brown or a real red ( both HAVE to be achieved at a salon, trust me lol). Anyway, I would hate to see you get a substantial cut, maybe a couple of layers?

Change is good. I went through this in Oct & went from a chin length bob to an asymmetrical cut very short on one side & very long on the other, loved it at first now I miss my hair, So I agree with Conterria as long as its not emotionally charged as mine was....

Oh I like this. What color did you use to get this and kind of shampoo is that that lighten your hair?

I used L'OREAL's Excellence Creme 5G Medium Golden Brown with the new Pro-Keratine in it. It looks like this:
Shampoo I used was Neutrogena's Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, looks like this:

Thanks Ivy, not that I'm coloring anytime soon:look:. Are you natural or relaxed and is that color permanent. Was it drying at all? Did the shampoo get rid of the dandruff?

Do what makes YOU happy! I'll be the first to tell you....i am enjoying my hair now that its short....but i do miss my long hair....sometimes. So go short if you need to.....it'll probably help uplift your spirits too...i know mine were when i chopped:yep:

And besides...you KNOW it will grow back!:)

I agree with others to do what you want to do. I will also be cutting, as if I have much to cut:look:. But I think I would much rather have a flattering style over length. But have fun with your hair!

I was actually on the fence whether or not you should or shouldn't. But I see you made the decision on your own, which is a good thing. I really like your results! Congrats on stepping out of your comfort zone. :yep:
