If you mix your S-curl or Care free curl gold
please LIST what you mix your juice with? (amount)?

*clutching m' pearls* I'd never ruin the perfection in S Curl by mixing with anyfin. The thought makes me queasy. :ill:

apply on wet or dry hair?

Both.

I apply on damp hair if I just washed my hair and plan to wear it out. S Curl is the lube that makes my hair comb-able so I would not be able to do anything to my hair if I washed it and just let it be, so gotta have the juice pronto.

By the end of the day, my previously damp hair is dry and it feels very different from the way it did when S Curl was applied. Feels hard. So I reapply S Curl now to dry hair. Makes it soft all over again and then I braid it and baggy for the night, and I'm good to go for days w/o ever needing to reapply, as long as I braid and baggy my hair nightly.

Water. I use Scurl.

(amount)? 50/50 ratio

apply on wet or dry hair? Dry hair

I mainly use it at night and then baggy but sometimes during the middle of the day if I feel my hair needs re-moisturizing I use it then too.

s-curl straight ,then seal with oil if needed.

i do it everynight for sure, but if hair feels dry in the morning i'll put some on too!

i plan on buying msm and maybe try to put that in the mix. (i wonder if that is possible......)

Usually I use it straight, ocassionally mixed 50:50with water. Recently, I have been mixing it 50:50 with diluted Taliah Waajid protective mist bodyfier. Thats nice too. I like to apply it to dry hair.

I mix my own juice- 50% water, 30% glycerin, 15% aloe vera juice, 5% castor oil.

I've actually recently started sealing my hair with my juice, cuz nothing else was keeping my hair truly moisturized. I'm in love!

I co-wash 2-3x per week, so I apply to damp hair afterwards. I usually end up re-spritzing at least once during the day on dry hair to re-moisturize, but if I follow Nonie's advice and baggy at night, I'm usually good until my next wash.

i dilute my scurl slightly with water and spritz whenever I can. sometimes, I go all out and apply straight scurl and seal with oil. It just depends on how busy i am, and how i'm feeling. thankfully, my hair likes it both ways

I use it straight from bottle and I use it on wet hair. Seems to be easier to use that way for me to get better coverage...

I use S curl straight out of the bottle on wet hair once a day, in the morning. When my hair is dry I have a mix of Scurl, water and coconut oil.

I mix with water in a spray bottle or use it straight out of the bottle

apply on wet or dry hair?
Both

I also seal my ends with hair grease.

thanks ladies... this is so useful
i now realize w/ glycerin i will have to come off of this winter anyway
perhaps i'll turn to the now notorious & famed "kimmay-leave-in" :lachen::lachen::lachen:

Just wanted to add my 2 cents. I use Lustrasilk Right On Curl Activator mixed with one n only Argan oil :lick: This is the moisturizer for my braids instead of the braid sheen used for the Crown and Glory method. This is super duper moisturizing and it doesn't leave your hair over moisturized but just right.:look: The argan oil also helps to tone down of the 'juice' smell.
