I did it! I did my own relaxer Tuesday. I took everyone's advice and went for it, and I still have all my hair

I used the ORS Olive Oil no-lye kit, gave myself a little trim, and I must say it turned out pretty well.

As for my goal of bra-strap by Christmas, not quite there yet (except when I tilt my head back). I'm guessing I'll be there by February or March at the latest

Now I gotta go change my signature . . .

Yay for Lisatamika!!!! Hooray!!!! Good going!! Now tell me, don't you feel great knowing all the money you just saved??? I always get a little "high" from thinking about how much I just saved and the fact that I didn't just give someone my hard-earned money only to leave pissed off and hurt!! So hooray for you!!! I sure do!!! When I was stressing over it to my DH, he just said, "Who is going to take better care of you hair than you?" And he was absolutely right.

Now I can use that money I saved from going to a stylist to go buy more hair products and M.A.C.!!!!!!

Isn't it great. I self relaxed last week and then a couple of days later I got bold and decided to give my hair a little trim to start getting rid of some of those dry, damaged ends and I felt so good about my self and my hair afterward.
