Thanks to our fearless leader Bev, I purchased the Salerm leave-in and put a little bit of jojoba oil in it (about a quarter size)and voila... lovely shine and beautiful bouncy curls... not as lovely as Bev's but it's getting there

Oh I love Salerm leave-in!

It is one of my staples. But I have not tried it with jojoba oil mixed in yet

I'll be sure to try it for my next wash

Thanks for the tip!

Wow! I gotta add this to my list of tips. I will be needing some tricks to help me get a good rollerset for my anniversay in June. I will allow myself to let my hair down for this day only and use a little heat. The Salerm leave-in is on my list of things to buy.

I haven't bought any products in such a long time. But after seeing Bev's beeeeeutiful curls, i just had to purchase it. It's pretty thick and creamy and that's what i loved about it (kinda like keracare's leave in).

Do you find the Keracare gives good shine like the Salerm CH? I've been curious about the Keracare, but I'm in love with the Salerm leave in and I wanted to know what the differences were?

I'm not sure if it was the jojoba oil or the salerm itself that gave me the 'extra' shine but i will say that my hair felt 'better'. It might have been b/c the last time i used the keracare, i used the keracare setting lotion and that left a icky sticky heavy feeling in my hair so i was none too pleased. Give me until next friday and i'll do a comparison for you by using each product by itself (no jojoba). Is that okay with you?

Caramel did you just use the Salerm or did you use a setting lotion as well??? And did you air dry or did you sit under the dryer???

Just the salerm and the jojoba oil (BUT i always spray a little aroscio leave in and put the tiniest amount of keracare silken seal on my ends) and i sat under my hooded dryer.

Tracy,

I don't think the Keracare leave-in gives much shine; I can't compare it to the Salerm because I've never used it, but no real shine with just the Keracare.

Really Kenesha? Is it your regualr leave in? What do you like about it? Is there any slip at all?

I just placed it on my list of hair care products to try in 2004. I know I won't purchase it any time soon though.

It's my regular leave in. You're not even supposed to use a lot (a dime amt.) if you use too much it can make your hair look kind of dull, I think it's because of the sunscreen in it.

I like that it has a heat protectant in it, but I don't use it for slip I use At One With Nature Botanical Reconstructor for my slip and then I rinse it out and apply the Keracare.
